Our Penn Township Planning Commission is a seven (7) member "recommending" body, appointed by the Penn Township Board of Supervisors, each serving a four (4) year term. These positions are unpaid volunteer positions. The Planning Commission reviews all sketch plans, sub-division and/or land development plans submitted in Penn Township. After plan review, commission may recommend approval, disapproval, no comment or approval subject to conditions or modifications, and report its findings to the Board of Supervisors.
Planning Commission also reviews any zoning variances applications and reports findings and any recommendations to the Zoning Hearing Board.
Meetings are held at 7 pm, the fourth Monday of each month, in the meeting room of the Penn Township Municipal Office, 228 Clifford Road, Selinsgrove. See “Calendar of Events” for exact dates.
